3-5 quart pails of popped popcorn, salted
2 cups butter, melted
2⅔ cup sugar
1 cup Karo white syrup
teaspoon cream of tartar
teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar and syrup in a sauce pan and bring to boil. Add cream of tartar, boil until hard ball stage. Turn off and add baking soda and vanilla. Put popcorn on buttered cookie sheets. Drizzle syrup over, toss and mix. Set until cool, then break into pieces.
