5 jalapeno peppers
1 lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 large onion, quartered
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Remove tops and seeds from peppers. Combine peppers, onion and garlic, grating finely with food processor, food grater or grinder. Transfer to a bowl and mix in grated cheese, then mayonnaise. Chill until firm: form into ball. Roll in pecans.

This recipe is moderately spicy; add more jalapenos if desired. Recommend serving with nacho chips. Makes one large ball.
