1 cup apple cider
1/2 cup dried cranberries
salt
2 pounds small Brussels sprouts trimmed and cut in half
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bring cider to a boil in a small pan, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
2. Add the cranberries and simmer until only 1/4 cup liquid left; remove from heat.
3. Bring 1/2 cup water to sa simmer in a large skillet and add 1/2 teaspoon salt and the Brussels sprouts and cook, covered. Mix or shake the pan often, until Brussels sprouts are barely tender (4-5 minutes).
4. Uncover and turn heat to high, then add the oil and cook, tossing occasionally, until beginning to turn golden brown (2-3 minutes); then remove from heat.
5. Spoon the reduced cider and cranberry mixture on top and gently toss to combine.
