1 bag cubed frozen hashbrowns
1 stick melted butter or margarine
1 - 2 cup bag cheddar cheese
1 - 8 oz size sour cream
1 - can of cream of chicken soup
2 tsp of salt
2 tsp of pepper
1 tsp of chopped onion (if desired)

Crunchy topping (1 stick margarine melted and 3 cups corn flakes spread evenly on top of hashbrown mixture.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix hashbrowns with sour cream, cheese, salt, pepper, onion, 1 stick melted margarine and cream of chicken soup. Spread evening in a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Spread corn flakes on top of hashbrowns and pour 1 stick of melted butter over the corn flakes.

Bake at 350 for approx. 1 hour. Hashbrowns should be bubbling.
