1 lb. cream cheese softened to room temperature
1 lb. of butter
3 cups flour
Jam or preserves in various flavors (Gram always used pineapple, cherry, apricot and strawberry)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients (except jam) in order given. Leave in refrigerator overnight. Roll out at room temperature on floured cutting board. Cut into circles using a 3 inch round cookie cutter or the floured rim of a large glass. Fill with jam (about half a teaspoon) as too much jam will ooze out and burn. Fold over and flute the edges with a fork. Preheat oven to 400º. Bake for 8 to 10 mins.
