3 Tablespoons melted butter
½ Cup sugar
¼ Teaspoon salt
1½ Cups oatmeal
½. Teaspoon baking powder
1 Egg
½. Teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: add raisins or nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven 350º. Grease cookie sheets. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add the butter and egg and extract. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet and bake in moderate oven for 5-9 minutes.Remove from pan while warm.
