½ c flour
⅓ c cornstarch
⅔ c sugar
½ cold milk
½ t salt
3 egg yolks
1½ c hot milk
½ t vanilla
2 T butterİ

Directions:
Directions:
In the top of a double boiler, combine cornstarch, sugar, salt, and cold milk.
Beat the egg yolks, and stir into the sugar mixture.
Stir in the hot milk.
Cook over simmering water until thickened and smooth.
Add butter and vanilla.
Mix well.
