onion slices
garlic cloves
fresh dill
sliced cucumbers, ¼” thick

Syrup:
4 cups vinegar
4 cups sugar
1 cup water
½ cup pickling salt

Directions:
Directions:
In each jar add 2 or 4 slices of onion, 1 clove of garlic, 1 sprig of dill. Slice cucumbers 1/4” thick. Fill jar ½ full then add more onion, garlic and cucumbers. Add 2 pieces of dill on top.

In a saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, water and pickling salt. Bring to a boil. Pour hot syrup into jars and seal.
