8 russet potatoes
1 lb bacon (save the bacon grease for seasoning)
1 small onion or onion flakes
1/4 cup white vinegar (or more depending on taste)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil whole potatoes for approx. 20 minutes, making sure you don't overcook them and make them too mushy. Let potatoes cool, then peel skins and slice potatoes. Fry 1 pound of bacon and after cooling, crumble bacon over warm potatoes. Add the seasonings, 1/4 cup vinegar or more to taste, and approx. 1/8-1/4 cup of the bacon grease. Stir and serve warm.
