3/4 c sugar
1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

3/4 c softened butter

1 egg

2 Tbs water

2 tsp almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
almonds


Directions:
Directions:
1st- Combine 1st 8 ingredients .

2nd-Lightly spoon in flour.

3rd- Mix

Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Flatten slightly with a glass dipped in sugar. Press a whole almond into center.

Bake 350º for 8-12 min until firm. NOT brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets; cool.
