1 pkg (24 oz) Anne’s Flat Dumpling Strips
3-5 tbsp Anne’s Chicken Base
6-8 chicken legs
4 qt water or chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
- bring water to a boil in a large 6 qt. stock pot
- remove the frozen dumplings from the freezer and set aside while water is heating up
- add chicken legs to the pot and cook till almost done, approximately 30 - 40 minutes
- add the chicken base and more water if needed
- bring water back to a slow to medium boil
- separate each layer of dumplings, drop 8-10 into the boiling broth stirring from the bottom of pot
- as broth comes back to a boil, add more dumplings, stir often
- continue this process until all the dumplings are in the boiling broth
- cook at a slow to medium boil for about 10-12 minutes or until desired tenderness is achieved
- add salt, pepper and more chicken base if needed
- remove from heat, cover and wait 20-30 minutes before serving
- serve with cornbread, of course!
