1c unsalted butter...softened
1c sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp grated león zest
2 1/2 all-purpose flour
1c yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp salt

additional sugar and nutmeg for dusting tops

Directions:

350* 8 -10 min...ungreased cookie sheets ...use parchment paper

Cream butter with sugar. Stir in yolks, zest and vanilla. Sift flour and cornmeal, salt together and add to wet ingredients.

Pat dough into log shapes on waxed paper. (usually 2). Chill for 2-4 hrs.

Slice chilled dough into discs, and dip tops in a mixture of sugar and nutmeg. Bake till edges are
light brown. Cool on racks.
