1c Unsalted butter
1c powdered sugar
4 egg yolks
2c flour
4T grated lemon peel

4 egg whites
1c sugar
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1c crushed pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Cream soft butter and powdered sugar together. Stir in the 4 egg yolks, then the flour and
lemon peel. Press into a greased 9x15 pan. Bake 15min. at 350*

Meanwhile, beat the egg whites till full adding sugar slowly. When nearly stiff fold in crushed nuts and
lemon juice. Pour this over HOT crust. Bake additional 20-30min. until lightly browned.

Cool completely before cutting into squares.
