1 lg. pkg mini marshmellows
1 lg. pkg cream cheese
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. margarine
1 sm. jar of finely chopped pimentos
1 c. cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Spray a large bowl with Pam and melt marshmallows in the microwave until completely melted. Add cream cheese and mix well. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, folding in the cool whip last. Pour into 9x13 dish and chill. Can be made several days ahead. Yields 5-10 servings. We usually double this recipe for a large family gathering.

My mother had this salad at my dadís Christmas work party. That was about 1946, he had just returned from WWII, serving in the occupation of Germany. It is a family favorite and served at all holiday get togethers. Very good with turkey. One of grandsons loves it so much that I make him his own bowl so he can have it the next day.
