Dressing

1 med. sweet onion
⅔ c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. celery seed
1 T. prepared mustard
⅛ c. vinegar
⅛ c. oil
Directions:
Directions:
Put all dressing ingredients into a blender and puree. Refrigerate for 12 hours before serving.
 

Salad

1 pkg. fresh spinach
½ c. pepperidge stuffing
¼ lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 hard boiled eggs

Directions:
Put spinach in large bowl, crumble up bacon and eggs over the spinach, also the stuffing. Put just enough salad dressing to give it a good flavor. Then toss well. Dressing keeps well in the refrigerator for several days.

We had a dinner party & I served my favorite spinach salad. My husband, Jim, woke up at 3 am & was in a great deal of pain. He said, “I knew I should not eat that spinach salad, but I did.” We finally reached his doctor & told him about all the pain. The doctor said, “Jim has a kidney stone and I am sure that is the problem.” Yes, it was the kidney stone & Jim went to the hospital for surgery.
