1 c. Butter or margarine
1 c. Sugar
3 Eggs
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
3 1/2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Soda
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar

Frosting:
2 cups Powdered Sugar
1 Tbsp. softened butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
Milk to combine to desired consistency.
Food coloring if desired.
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Blend in dry ingredients and chill. Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 375º until lightly browned.


Frosting:
Combine powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and milk to desired consistency. Add powdered sugar to thicken or milk to thin.
