1. 1 cup shortening
2. 1 cup white sugar
3. 1/2 cup brown sugar
4. 1 egg (beaten)
5. 1 1/2 cup flour
6. 1 tsp soda
7. 1 tsp cinnamon
8. 1 1/2 cups oats
9. 1 tsp vanilla




Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, and sugars
Add egg Beat well
Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon
Mix together with egg mixture
Add oatmeal, and vanilla
Chill for 1 hour
Roll into balls
Place on parchment lined cookie sheet
Mash with fork

Bake @ 350 for 7-8 minutes
