4 cups bread, cubed
1/2 cup raisins
2 cups milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Sauce:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup pressed brown sugar
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
- preheat oven to 350º
- combine bread and raisins in a bowl
- in a pan, combine the milk and butter
- cook till butter is melted
- pour over bread and raisins
- allow to sit for 10 minutes
- stir in remaining ingredients
- pour into a greased 9 x 13 dish
- bake for 40 - 50 minutes or till the center is set

Sauce instructions:
- in a small pot, combine all of the sauce ingredients together, except the vanilla
- cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sauce thickens
- stir in vanilla flavoring
- spoon over the bread pudding when serving
