1-3 pound chuck roast, cut into small dice
2 large potatoes, diced
6 carrots, diced
2 medium onions, diced
1 rutabaga, diced
salt
pepper
½ stick butter, cut into small cubes
2 packages prepared pie crusts (4 pieces in all)

Directions:
Directions:
--Mix all ingredients in a large bowl

--Add salt, pepper and butter and mix thoroughly

--Place ¾ to 1 cup of mixture on each pie crust.

--Fold crust in half. Lightly dampen edges with water and press to seal. Poke a few holes in the top to vent.

--Place on baking pan and bake in a 350ºF oven for 40-50 minutes.

--Any left over mixture can be frozen and used in vegetable beef soup or baked in a casserole topped with a pie crust.
