4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 t. grated lemon peel
2 t. lemon juice
2 (8 oz) containers of refrigerator crescent rolls
1/2 c. powder sugar
1 t. lemon juice
Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients. Mix well. Separate dough into 8 rectangles. Press perforations together to seal. Spread 2 t. of cheese mixture all over each rectangle. Roll it up from the long side and give it a little tug to stretch it a bit. Tie in a loose knot.
Bake on an ungreased baking sheet at 375º for 15-20 minutes, or till golden.
Combine 1/2 c. powder sugar and 1 t. lemon juice. Drizzle over warm rolls.
