1½ cups sugar
6 T cornstarch
1½ cups boiling water
3 egg yolks
3 T butter
4 T lemon juice
1½ T lemon rind


To every egg white add:
2 T sugar
little salt

Mix sugar and cornstarch
add boiling water
cook and add 3 egg yolks
add butter, lemon juice, and lemon rind



use whites for top : beat whites sugar and salt
