1 1/2# small mushrooms
1 1/2 cups white or wine vinegar
1 cup Italian dressing
1 teasp dried oregano

Directions:
Directions:

Wipe and trim the mushrooms. In a non-aluminum sauce pan, combine the vinegar and 1 1/2 cups water, heat to boiling. Add the mushrooms and boil for 2 min. Drain, reserve 1/2 cup of cooking liquid. Cool the mushrooms for one hour. Mix the 1/2 cup of reserved liquid with Italian dressing and oregano,pour over the cooked mushrooms.

They can be eaten immediatly, but the flavor gets better after 12 hours. They can be kept for 7 to 10 days.
