12 T butter
3/4 C brown sugar
1/4 C sugar
1 t vanilla
1 egg
2 C flour
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2 C chocolate chips (I use the whole bag)

preheat oven to 350

Cream butter and sugar, then add vanilla and egg.

Add vanilla pudding, then other dry ingredients.

Mix in chocolate chips.

Chill for at least 1 hour covered in refrigerator.

Roll into 14 balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheet. This will make large cookies. If you desire smaller cookies, just make sure they are uniform in size and cut baking time.

Bake 9-12 minutes.

I have been complimented many times on these cookies. The original recipe called for putting hot fudge sauce or caramel sauce in the middle of the cookie, but that did not work out well for me.
