Cookies:
1 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/8 cup milk
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Frosting:
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

Cookies:
Beat butter and sugar together until very light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and milk and beat for 2 minutes.
Gradually add flour,salt and baking soda.
Roll out 1/8 or 1/4 inch thick. Bake on low temp (325 F) for about 15 minutes. Cook until edges are barely brown.

Frosting:
Mix together.
