1 1/2 tsp Soda
1 tsp water
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 cup light corn syrup
3 tbsp butter
1 lb unroasted peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
-Butter 2 baking sheets, keep warm
-Combine: soda, 1 tsp water, vanilla - set aside
-Combine: Sugar, 1 cup water and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stir occasionally to 240º
-Stir in butter and peanuts. Cook, stir constantly to 300º.. Remove from heat.
-Stir in soda mix.
-Pour mixture in cookie sheets and spread quickly.
-Set pans in a cool place to harden.
