1 whole pint sour cream
½ tsp salt
3 egg yolks
1 tsp rum
5 cups flour
1¼ tsp baking powder
One half ¼ lb butter

Directions:
Directions:
Add salt to eggs and beat until thick and lemon colored. Add sour cream, rum and baking powder-mix. Add flour and cut in butter and mix well. Knead on floured table. Cut dough in half, roll very thin and cut into strips about 4 inches long. Slit each piece in center and pull one end through the slit. Fry in hot fat until lightly browned. Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
