½ c. soft butter
2 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
½ t. salt

1 c. milk
1 beaten egg
1 t. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Blend the first 4 ingredients until mixture resembles pie dough. Set aside 1 scant cup of this mixture to add as topping.

To remainder add the last 3 ingredients.

Put in 9x13" pan. Cover with 6 heath bars (broken), ½ c. pecan pieces. Put scant cup of mixture over top and pat down lightly. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes. May top with whipped cream if desired.
