½ pound bacon
½ yellow onion, chopped
½ bell pepper, chopped
#10 can baked beans, excess juice poured out
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup KC Masterpice BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy bottom skillet saute the bacon until cooked through and set aside. In the remaining grease saute the chopped onion and bell pepper until tender.

Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a half size pan combine the beans, with the onions, peppers, sugar, BBQ sauce and mustard. Sprinkle with bacon.

Bake for 45-55 minutes until bubbly and slightly thickened.
