Directions:Dice onion very small and toss in stock pot. Add 2 T garlic and a nice drizzle of oil and cook on medium low till onion is clear. DO NOT BROWN This recipe is by sight. I probably do it different everytime. Add italian seasonings. I like a zesty sauce and I like basil and garlic very much.
Add tomato products. One can of paste. Small can if making small batch. Larger can if making larger batch. Add envelope of Lawry's Spatini or spaghetti sauce seasoning mix. I do everything by sight. Any tomato products you want to use up is fine.
Cook on medium until sauce begins to boil. Add parmesan if you like cheese in your sauce If you like a sweeter sauce you can add 2 T of sugar to ease the bitterness of tomato products.

Personal
Notes: I've been making sauce since my Freddie's days. We always used Spatini. Now that you kids are grown, I don't make it as much. One day I was contemplating making or buying. Nicole was confused and said, "Why don't you just forget this crap and make your own?" As we stood in the tomato product isle I said, "I kinda need this crap to make it." It was a good laugh.
