2 c cut asparagus or 1 package frozen asparagus, thawed
1/2 - 1 onion
1 c water
2 Bouillon cubes (chicken)
2 1/2 c milk
2 T cornstarch
salt and lemon pepper to taste
chives for garnish.

Directions:
Directions:
In 2 quart saucepan place asparagus, onion, water, Bouillon cubes, salt and lemon pepper, cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1/2 hour. Gradually stir 1/2 c milk into cornstarch. Mix until smooth. Add to asparagus stirring constantly. Bring to boil over heat for 1 minute.

I am not sure about how much onion, use your judgement and if you want to put mixture into blender until smooth. Garnish with chives.
