1 loaf party rye or pumpernickel bread; 1 - 4 1/2 oz can corned beef spread or 1/4 pd. sliced corned beef.

1 - 4 oz can sauerkraut, drained. 3 slices swiss cheese cut into 1 x 2" rectangles.

Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Spread half the bread slices with the corned beef spread or sliced corned beef. Top each with some of the saurekraut and a rectangle of cheese.

In a large skillet over moderate heat, melt 2 T butter, add sandwiches a few at a time and grill about 2 min. on each side, until lightley browned and cheese in melted.

Add additional butter has needed.

Serve hot.

Maybe reheagted in 350º oven about 5 min.
