1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
2 tsp salt
2 Tabls chili powder (I prefer cumin and chili powder mix)
1 - 6 oz cans ftomato sauce
1 can kidney or chili beans

1 large pkg Fritos
1/2 pound cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:

Cook beef, onion and peppers in oil until browned. Add seasoning, tomato sauce and beans. Simmer for about 2/3 hour until cooked and flavors are blended.top with 1/2 of meat mixture and top with 1/2 grated cheese. Repeat second layer.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serve hot
