Stuffed Pepper Soup Recipe

╝ pound diced bacon
1 pound ground beef or turkey
1 large onion
2 peppers
1 large can crushed tomatoes1 cup rice or small pasta
Tomato juice (optional)

Suggested Seasonings:
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp parsley

Fry bacon until crisp then add diced onion and sautÚ in bacon grease.
Add ground meat and cook until done.
Drain grease from mixture.
Add crushed tomatoes.
Add enough water to cover the meat mixture (1 inch over the top).
Add as much tomato juice as you desire.
Add rice and peppers and season to taste.
