Ingredients:  
1-¼ pound of top round beef or 1" thick sirloin
¼ cup oil
1 cup water
1 medium onion cut in ¼" slices
½ tsp garlic salt
¼ tsp ground ginger
2 medium green peppers cut into strips
1 tbsp cornstarch
2-3 tsp sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 medium tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Cut beef into strips and heat in oil.
Stir in water, onion, garlic salt, ginger and heat until boiling.
Reduce heatr, cover and simmer 12-15 minutes for round steak, 5-8 minutes for sirloin.
Add green peppers the last 5 minutes.

Blend cornstarch, sugar, spy sauce and stir into beef mixture.
Cut tomatoes into 1/8ths and add to mixture.
Cover and cook over low heat for 3 minutes.

Serve with rice.
