2 squares butter, at room temperature
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup milk or orange juice
1 tsp. baking powder
3 ¾ cups flour
1-2 Tbsp. almond extract
Options: chocolate chips, raisins or coconut
Powder sugar for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º.

Cream butter, sugar and eggs; add almond extract and mix well. Add milk or juice and mix well. Add flour and baking powder, mix well. Add chocolate chips or raisins or coconut.

Spoon into a well-greased and floured bundt pan or angel food pan; run a knife through batter for any air bubbles. Smooth top of batter.

Bake 350º for 1 hour or until baked throughout. Cool in pan for 15 minutes; take out of pan to cool on baking rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
