Petra Pesto Pepper Cheese Spread Recipe

16 oz Cream Cheese
1 cup Ricotta Cheese
3 large eggs (one at a time)
1/2 cup Parmesean Cheese
1/2 cup prepared pesto
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper


1/4 cup bread crumbs
2 TBL Parmasean cheese
1 TBL butter


1/4 cup slivered almonds

Preheat oven to 325

Rub butter over the sides and bottom of a 9 inch springform pan
Combine the bread crumbs and 2 TBL of Parmesan cheese
Coat bottom and sides of the springform pan with bread crumb mixture

Cream the Ricotta and Cream Cheese until smooth ..... add one egg at a time until well blended
Fold in the Parmesean Cheese and Pesto
Blend in spies

Pour cheese mixture over the bread crumb lined pan
Sprinkle with slivered almonds

Bake 45 min or until center of cake no longer shakes. Great with crackers or small pieces of crusty bread!
