1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
3 Tbsp. Butter
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 lb. Shrimp, Peeled and Deveined
1 lb. Spaghetti or Long Pasta of your choice
Juice and Grated zest of one lemon (optional, but makes it so good!)

Directions:

Cook the pasta according to package directions, saving one (1) cup of pasta water.

In a large skillet, sauté the garlic in the oil and butter. Add the shrimp and simmer until the shrimp turn pink, add the pepper flakes and lemon juice/zest, if using. Add the reserved pasta water, a bit at a time, to make the sauce to your liking. Serve over the pasta, along with crusty bread for sopping up the sauce.
