1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 cup raisins or currants (optional)
1 egg (beaten)
Pastry (2 crust pies)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together 1/3 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar. Add rest of ingredients except for the 1 egg.

Add and beat in egg just until combined. Place into pastry lined tart tins. Fill half full. Bake at 450F for 8 mins the reduce heat to 350F for 15 mins.
