1 package Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme cake

Directions:

Mix and bake cake according to the boxes directions. Can be either a 2 layer cake or a sheet cake.
 

Filling/Topping:

1 cup sugar
12 oz. coconut
8 oz. sour cream
1 container Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and chill: Sugar, coconut and sour cream.

Once the cake is cooled (and split, if it is a sheet cake) spread all but one cup of the sugar/sour cream mixture in between the layers. Blend the remaining cup of mixture with the Cool Whip and ice the cake top and sides. Refrigerate for 3 days before serving.
