1 1/2 cup yellow corn meal (One box of Pioneer bread mix)
3/4 cup flour
1 to 2 baking powder
1 egg beaten
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 package yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water
1 medium onion chopped fine
6 green onions sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients with buttermilk. Add onion, yeast and egg. Mix thoroughly and let stand 1 to 2 hours.

Drop by spoonfuls into hot grease cooking until brown.
