5 TBSP yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 cup warm water
4 eggs
1 qt scalded milk
3/4 cup shortening
1 1/3 cup sugar
3 TBSP salt
1 large mashed potato
14 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast, sugar, warm water. Add eggs, scalded milk, shortening, sugar, salt, mashed potato, and flour. Raise the dough until it doubles in size, punch it down and let it raise again. roll it out cut it and fry those little bad boys up!!

Combine 2 tsp. corn syrup, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, and 3 to 4 TBSP of water
