1 stick of butter
1 egg beaten
1 cup sugar
1 T Karo
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups Rice Krispy cereal
1 box powdered sugar
Butter for your hands!

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the butter, egg, sugar, Karo, dates and nuts in a skillet and cook over low heat for about 12-15 minutes, stirring often. The mixture will look brown and be thicker. Remove from heat and add the vanilla; mix well and then add the Rice Krispy cereal.

USING BUTTERED HANDS: shape into small balls about 1" and roll in powdered sugar. Once completely cooled store in a sealed container.
