1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin
3/4 cup milk
2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening and add eggs. Add pumpkin, milk and soda to creamed mixture, beat dry ingredients into mixture. Bake in oblong pan 45 minutes at 350º 2 layer pans 35 minutes at 350º.
