6 medium baking potatoes
1 Tbsp. fat
2 oz. Swiss cheese (shredded and Cheddar cheese may be substituted)
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. hot milk or cream
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
1 Tbsp. chopped onion

Wash and scrub potatoes; dry and rub with fat. Place on rack in oven. Bake at 450 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes, Remove from oven. Cut into halves longways. Scoop out insides without breaking skin. Mash and whip in butter, milk, salt, paprika, and pepper until fluffy. Mix in cheese, bacon, and onion. Pile mixture lightly into skins. Return to oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
