Rum Cake Recipe

1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1--3 ounce pkg of instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup dark rum
1 package yellow or white cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup Wesson oil

GLAZE (I usually half this for my cakes)
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup dark rum

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle chopped nuts over the bottom of a greased bundt pan

Mix rest of cake ingredients

Bake at 350º for 1 hour

Cool in pan about 5-10 minutes.

Turn out onto a plate

Punch holes (I use a fork) in top of cake and spoon glaze over the cake and let soak in.

GLAZE
Boil for 5 minutes, butter, water and sugar.
Add the rum and glaze the cake.
