1 lb. ground turkey or beef
1 c. onion (chopped)
1/2 c. green pepper (chopped)
1 garlic clove (minced)
1 T. chili powder
1 bottle of tomato or vegetable juice (32 oz.)
1 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet, brown ground beef or turkey. Drain. Stir in onion, green pepper, garlic and chili powder. Cook and stir until the vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed
