Ingredients:  
1- cups packed brown sugar
cup butter or stick margarine
1- tsp imitation maple flavoring or vanilla
2 eggs
1- cup flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
Confectioners sugar (optional)
tsp salt
tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, butter and flavoring. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Combine flour and baking powder and add to the egg mixture. Stir in walnuts,

Pour in 9" square baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until brownies test done.

Cool and dust with confectioners sugar if desired.
