Personal Notes:
MAKING CARAMELS WAS A TRADITION AT CHRISTMAS WHEN I WAS GROWING UP. OUR ENTIRE FAMILY SPENT DAYS COOKING SPECIAL TREATS TOGETHER WHICH LEAVES ME WITH SUCH GREAT MEMORIES. THESE CARAMELS ARE A LOT OF WORK AND WE WOULD TAKE TURNS STIRRING THE MIXTURE SO IT WOULD NOT STICK. THERE WERE TIMES THEY WOULD TURN OUT PERFECTLY AND OTHERS, NOT SO MUCH. WRAPPING EACH ONE WAS VERY TIME CONSUMING AND I REMEMBER HOW WE STARTED OUT SMALL AND THEY GOT BIGGER AND BIGGER BECAUSE WE JUST WANTED TO GET FINISHED. THIS WAS NOT A TRADITION THAT I CARRIED ON IN MY LIFE FOR MANY REASONS. MOSTLY TIME, BUT ALSO THE NUMBER OF CALORIES PACKED INTO JUST ONE OF THESE DELECTABLE TREATS😁. WHO KNOWS I JUST MIGHT TRY THEM AGAIN SOON!
