Directions:Dissolve yeast with warm Milk and 2 Tbsp Sugar. set aside Melt Butter in large bowl Add cold Milk, 1/2 cup Sugar, salt and eggs to a large bowl (use one you can seal and put in fridge) and mix well Then add Melted Butter Alternating add Yeast mixture and flour to the above mixture. Mixing well after each addition. When mixed leave dough in same bowl and cove and refrigerate at least 4 hours or over night. ( I always did overnight) Next morning: on a lightly floured surface divide dough into 4 parts. Roll each part separately into large as circle as possible dough should be thin. Brush with melted butter you then will cut into 16 wedges and roll like crescents. Place on ungreased pan let rise in warm room until double in bulk (approx 2-4) hours
Bake 350º for 15-20 min. |
