7 bacon slices, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz. cream cheese, room temp
1/4 cup half & half
4 oz. blue cheese, crumbled
2 tbsp. chopped fresh chives
3 tbsp. chopped almonds ( 1 oz)

Assorted crackers, sliced french bread, or celery and/or carrot sticks

Directions:
Cook bacon in skillet until almost crisp. Drain excess fat, add garlic and cook until bacon is crisp, about 1-2 min.

Preheat oven to 350. With electric mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth, add half & half and beat until combined. Stir in bacon mixture, blue cheese and chives. Transfer to 2 cup ovenproof baking dish. Cover with foil.
Bake until heated through, about 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped almonds.

May be made 1 day before. Bring to room temp before baking.
